Away from city.It has a play area. Cabins, nice looking area for fishing but needs to be restocked.
Booked a tent camping site at the last minute on a beautiful Saturday night. No problems. Tent sites were very spacious. Restrooms and showers were clean and nice. Cool River. Pretty quiet family-oriented location. No swimming as far as I could tell.
Great get away and close to home, so you don't have to drive to another state to enjoy the great outdoors. They have camping, hiking, fishing,and boating. Also if you want just a day away from home picnic areas.
I thought it was very nice. Scenery is beautiful.
Been coming here for years, one of few beautiful parks here in the Sioux City area.
